i had the same problem with my env touch but i was reading through the review and getting mad because i didnt want to take mine to the verizon store and have to get a new one and lose all my texts. so i thought i would try to turn it on again. and when i hit the power button on the front i accidentally hit the clear button at the same time and it turned on. it might just be mine but its worth trying.
That is a software issue. You need to either contact motorola or verizon regarding that issue. This is a known problem with their phone and they never fully resolved the first batch of the Razor freezing issue.
Try plugging your phone in to a power supply so that it's running off a different power source, then power up your phone. You should then be able to copy off your contacts. This worked for mine which I'd left outside in the front lawn through the WHOLE WINTER and just found it after the snow melted. Sure enough it works, however I need to have it plugged in to a charger to actually use it. Give it a try, worked for me.
