Question about KitchenAid KSM90 Ultra Power Series Stand Mixer
It was working. I removed the back cover, and 4 screws located under the main body to access the speed selector lever which would not stay in off detent. I quickly realized it was not so simple to look inside so I abandoned the project and put the back on and re-inserted the 4 screws. Tried the mixer an it would not turn on. Oh, I also removed 1 motor brush and realized that was uneccessary. Put the brush back in as well. Is there some sort of safety switch or reset to prevent operation with these removed, that needs to be reset?
Hi. I don't see any safety switch on the unit. Please make sure that the power cord connection inside the unit was not damage or wires accidentally detached.
Here is a list of manuals for your unit. Please refer to "Parts List" If you need instruction where to return the parts.
Good luck. Let me know if you need further assistance.
