Question about Logitech LX6 Mouse

Open Question

Left-click functionality For buttons and tabs that require one click ('approve' or 'yes/no'), my new LX6 is requiring a click (which highlights) and then another click (which performs function). It's doing the same to "x" out of a program or to highlight an email in my inbox - one click (which does the equivalent of 'select' the item) and then another click to perform function. I've checked in the settings and, while they appear relatively simple, I cannot figure out what I've done incorrectly here...thank you!!

SOURCE: My Logitech cordless mouse MX 700 is being eratic.

There could be a sensitivity problem with the mouse before installing new drivers and software you can try going to the mouse settings to see if there's an adjutment problem,

  • click on the mouse icon in the control panel
  • a mouse properties box will pop up
  • at the top of the box click hardware
  • look to see if your mouse is labeled under devices.
  • highlight your mouse it should say, this device is working properly.
  • you might want to go through all the mouse settings first to make sure there set right, pointer's activities, pointer option's, ect, if your still having problem's here's a link with the software and driver download for your mouse,http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/398/&cl=us,en?prodcrid=398
also replace the battery if it's low, good luck.

SOURCE: Greetings: I'm moving a marble mouse to a new

I believe you would have programmed the buttons with the driver software that SHOULD have come with the mouse. That would be your best bet. Look to see if the drivers installed a utility to program that mouse buttons.

SOURCE: Loss of control over my mouse.

Hi Arsenal,

My Logitech cordless occasionally does the same thing. On mine it was caused by a build up of gunk over the optical sensor. Once I cleaned it, it functioned normally.

I know it doesn't make sense as far as the buttons. I'm just sharing what worked for me. Hope it works for you.

Best regards
Mike

Error code 0303 HP laptop, I bought a new hdd same problem to be sure that the hdd is good I installed it on my other laptop asus g53sx and works great, no problems. For some reason HP dosen't like it.

The 303 error would indicate a failing Hard Drive, but try the following first and then re-run the HDD test - if it still fails, it would look like you'll need to replace the drive.

Click the Start Menu, click Computer, left click Local Disc C once to highlight it, right click Local Disc C and select Properties. Click the Tools tab and then click the button to 'Check the Drive for Errors'. In the following window make sure both boxes are ticked and then click Start. Part of this process will require a restart to check the drive.
