You have lost battery power to the receiver. Check the wires from the battery to the receiver, check the battery while you're at it. Good luck

My 2001 dodge 2500 5.9 gas engine wont stay running you have to keep giving it throotle

Having to keep the throttle plat open could be 2 things (just to start). one, the air filter is clogged(like really dirty). The other is the idle air control motor is dirty or not working. Clean the throttle body and idle air control motor with brake clean. Use a toothbrush and clean inside as best as you can. It will take a second or two to start. Then spray the brake clean in the throttle at higher RPM's.

98 freelander stalling fault

Explore the problem to see if its the power steering, or physical steering or engine:
Does it stall when its in neutral and you go to full lock?
If so its the power steering, or the engine isnt ticking over fast enough to generate the extra pump pressure needed when on full lock. Check pump belts are good and tension is correct. Then buy a used idle valve and swap it out.
Also do basic checks to see if wheels are catching on some part of car. Jack it up so front wheels are off ground, on full lock in neutral do the wheels turn freely, or catch on something? Slowly lower the vehicle down and check same as you do it. When its down put it in gear and see if it stalls.

Car stalls after turn or idle

Q; Is your service engine lamp on? This vehical has a power steering pressure switch, witch helps your engine maintane idle at parking lot monuvers. its next to your power steering can check if it works by starting your engine and let it warm up. then without tuching your gas pedal turn your steering wheel slowly , the engine should maintane its idle. if this works and your service eng. soon is not on then try cleaning your throttle plate. A dirty throttle is alot of stalling causes with all vehicals.

What would cause my 2005 colorado to idle really low and if i stop at a stop light or make a sharp turn it dies what could be the cause

Hello, if your check engine light is not on & the Colorado does not have a P0506 error code....
Check every connection on the air intake between the MAF sensor and the throttle body for vacuum leaks...Remove and clean the IAC (idle air control) & the MAF (mass air flow sensor)
Do not use brake cleaner on the MAF sensor, you can purchase MAF sensor cleaner at your local parts store....I hope this helps.

Truck will start fine but if i drive it to say

Sounds like a problem with the idle air control valve on the throttle or an air leak into the inlet manifold. When the engine is cold the temperature sensor informs the ECM that the engine needs a richer mix to get started and to keep running. Once the engine is warmed up and the coolant sensor informs the ECM of that fact, then the fuel/air mix s set to the normal leaner balance. When you stop the hot engine and restart it the ECM is still seeing a hot engine and the idling is now very dependent on the idle air control valve for maintaining a sufficient running mix. If there is an air leak into the air ducting or inlet manifold the hot air under the hood will sucked in first. The ECM cannot sense this un-metered hot air and so the fuel mix is tool lean to fire. If it is the IAC there is an additional diagnostic to confirm if it is at fault. When the engine is running and the truck is stationary do you notice that when you turn the steering wheel (engage the power steering) that the engine badly falters and drops in revs for a second or two. If this is the case it looks like IAC valve is not functioning properly. To fix: 1) remove the air ducting from the front of the throttle and clean the throttle interior and plate until like new. 2) locate the IAC, its often on the throttle body and is a small device held on with a couple of bolts with an electrical connection to it. 3) Disconnect and unbolt and again clean thoroughly Check the two ports on the throttle body exposed by the removal of the IAC and clean these. Reassemble and it should work OK

My trx 3.3 idles fine but when you turn the remote on it takes off

you either need to adjust your servo or your idle screw on your controller. when you turn your remote on, it's opening up the throttle causing it to take off. turn on your remote without starting it and if you cant get it to the idle position with the trim screw on the controller, adjust your servo linkage so that it does.

TH Magna stalling in idle after battery replacement

Hi - what was the solution??

Ive just had exactly this problem. Got new battery today then no idle. The car starts fine and runs for abourt 1 second then instantly dies. Its fine if you keep your foot on the throttle. Unfortunately if you are going downhill as soon as you place your foot on the brake the engine dies and the steering fails - then the brakes!!!

I seem to remember having idle problems the last time I replaced the battery. but not as severe.

Any how I got home after nearly crashing with starting the engine 20 times. Then with the engine off I pressed the throttle right to the floor and released.- and then restarted. That seemed to work for some reason ??? The Idle is now 100% ok although still a bit rough. But at least does't stall.
I cant see why doing anything to the throttle pedal/cable should affect the idle to be killed.?? even if the cable snapped it should still idle.
NB about 10% of the starts the idle actually idled ok for a few minutes before failing again

Any thoughts greatfully received

I now darent go out!!

Misubishi service had no idea- said bring it in!!
