Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I’ve seen.

There is no way to fix it. You should go to nearest Service centre and change the Camera body part.

Hello, For months now I cannot find the part that screws onto the bottom of the camera, which is then clamped to the plate...where can I get such a piece?

Take tripod to nearest camera store and tell them you need a quick release. Take tripod so you can try different shoes.

Not sure if this one works with your model exactly(doesn't have the "se" in the model number) but worth a try.

Kodak c182 - Battery door cracks

No you will have to send the camera away for repair.

An Out of Warranty repair for this model for this fault is about 25 pounds + shipping. KODAK also offers a Trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price.

In order to arrange your repair/Trade up: Contact KODAK:

I bought a used camera tripod that does not fit my camera

Your tripod is a K-Mart brand item and it will fit any camera but it's clearly missing the quick-release foot which most tripods have these days. This part screws to the bottom of the camera and enables the camera to be quickly attached and removed from the tripod.

Unfortunately there is no standard foot shared between manufacturers and most tripod manufacturers don't even have a standard design foot which fits all models in their range.

You can still order a replacement foot from:-

http://tripodquickrelease.com/Focal_Quick_Releases.htm

But at US$18.99 it may be cheaper to buy a new tripod!

I hope that you appreciate the time which I've taken to research and answer your question and ask only that you return the favour by rating my answer.

My tripod is in 2 peices

Usually with expensive tripods the head and body come in 2 parts. So the top should just screw onto a medal screw on the top. But usually cheaper ones come as one unit. if this is the case it might just be broken and need to be glued or scrapped. Its hard to tell without a picture of both parts.

Need manual for kodak Gear Tripod 60'' or instructions about it's

Look at the bottom of your camera and you should see a hole where a screw would screw into. That should be the screw on the top of your tripod.

Unable to unscrew camera from mounting plate tripod

The mounting plate may have a small pin with a spring to fit certain kinds of cameras.
Don't try to twist the plate off the camera, that may damage the bottom of the camera.
Instead, the plate should have a slotted screw in the bottom that screws into the camera. Unscrew the bolt with a good screwdriver.

Hope that helps.
