Should've bought a chevy! Just kidding, when I have a similar problem, the GM dealers will do it for nothing, I'd try another dealer who isn't trying to rip you for a five minute job

Radio code for my car..Can you help?

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)

To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then POST A BRAND  NEW  QUESTION

quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

Also quote the MAKE of CAR

note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number

Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive

Whats the codes for a peugeot car radio for a 206 x reg. Radio only has 1-6 on for the numbers to insert the codes with.rds/eon

The code should be unique for each radio and the code should be kept with the radio manual. In view of the age of the car, it seem likely that you no longer have the manual.

The only solution I know is to contact a Peugeot dealer and ask for help. You are not alone with this problem!

My battary went flat and now i can not use my radio i need a cod to unlock it

If you have the glove box books see if someone jotted it down. If not look under gas cap lid, door jams. hood. look everywhere. Some dealers were known to have their own special place they put these. If you cant find it you may need to take the radio out and get the model #. maybe youl get lucky and see it there. Then call the dealer. Cry alot because they usually charge for this. Also thier are places online you can get it , Search, it will cost you thier also.
