Question about Xerox Phaser 8500/DN Printer

This error started on my 8560MFP after using non-xerox ink. I was disassembling, manually moving the head (and other components), re-assembling sometimes several times per day.
I actually cut a 3/4" hole in the right-hand side so that I could turn the 'gear that affects head-home-position' without removing the side panel.
I think I dug out as much non-xerox ink as I could, installed new, xerox sticks, ran lots of tests, and it started working pretty good.
I still often have trouble if there's a power failure - some wax apparently hardens where it shouldn't, the head gets stuck and I get the error.
Sometimes, several restarts will fix it, especially complete power off and restart 6 to 8 times. But usually, when it's turned off, I turn the gear I mentioned above, and that will get it going again.
The gear is one that's about 5 inches back from the front and 4 inches from the bottom on the right hand side (when assembled, no optional tray, looking at unit from the front). It is on a shaft with a flat notch cut into it specifically so that it can be turned with a screw-driver. It also has a red dot marked on it so that it can be manually alligned. If when the power is off, the red dot is not at the bottom, turn it clockwise until it is directly at the bottom. Don't go around a second time and try not to go past the point at all.

This error tells us that the Media Path Motor 807K16050 is bad.
This is usually caused by bad camshafts 008K02160 & 020K14800, so replace those too.
It is medium difficult and takes about 2-3 hours
