My first generation iPad appears to be totally dead. When I plug it into charge all I see is the flashing Apple. Is there a way to get the system going again ?

The battery in it has most likely expired and may cost more than a new iPad to replace. A voltmeter across the charger or a friends iPad may be useful to test your charger works ok.

On your Mac or PC, open iTunes, complete turn off your ipad, connect the usb cable to your ipad (just the ipad, not the pc), press home button and keep pressing, conect the usb cable to the computer, you must recieve a message that there's an ipad on recovery mode, realesse home button,, press OK on the pc, then on the iTunes screen you must see a button to recover the ipad, proceed, and follow steps,, just remember,, on this procedure, you lost all the info, pictures and music on the ipad, but if you have a restore copy on your PC or MAC, you can recover all the stuff that you previsuly have archiveded.. good luck!!

How do I change battery on Ipad2

It won't be easy for you to do so, because to open the iPad you have to remove the display. In most cases you will break it, and it will cost you lots extra. Just contact the Apple store. They will check if your battery really has to be replaced and will offer you a replacement for a reasonable price.
If you want check how to open the iPad. Be aware the screen costs almost 100 dollar when you break it. No idea what the battery costs.

Safari is consistently buggy and laggy for me when I'm browing the web, and I'm getting this weird light gold tint on the upper right hand portion of my screen whenever I boot it up.

I recently bought an iPad Air, and I'd like to use Kinkoo portable charger which I bought from: http://www.ikinkoo.com/shop/portable-charger/kinkoo-infinite-one-8000mah.html to charge it. I found Kinkoo can charge my iPad rapidly, only cost a few hours to charge it from 5% to 100%. Works perfectly than I expected.

Can you buy external hard drive for iPad 2

this is part of the post from...

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4054508

may be worth a look
There are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.
The Kingston Wi-Drive, which costs $50 for the 16 Gigabyte, and then $30 more for every 16 gigs more. It works by you turning it on and then accessing the files on it from an app that you download on your iDevice. You can access music, movies, and other stuff. No connections or anything, it works like a WiFi connection, you connect to it from the setting on the iPad under wireless networks.
Then there is the Seagate GoFlex, which some would recommend over the Wi-Drive. But this one costs $199 and had 500 Gigabytes of storage. It works the sameway as the Kingston: no wires, runs over its wireless connection. You can actually fit up to 300 HD movies on it.

Where in ballarat can i get an black ipad repaired?

Hi Daveo_25,
I've had two family member's iPads (ipad 2 & ipad 3gen) repaired by Ballarat iphones. He repaired them both within a few hours after dropping them off and they were as good as new. The cost of the repairs was reasonable and i would use them again. their website is www.ballaratiphones.com.au
Best of Luck,

Install internet explorer on iPad?

1. Sign up for a free account at www.logmein.com
2. Add your desktop with IE to your logmein account.
3. Install LogMeinIgnition on your iPad (cost $29.99, but well worth it).
4. Now you can access your desktop from your iPad (as long as the desktop is powered up and connected to the net) and search your MLS from your iPad via your desktop

I need ipad

You need an iPad? I can't provide one, but there are many ways of getting hold of one.
if you just want to try one out, go to an Apple Store and have a play around. You can also buy one from there.
Secondhand iPads are available on Amazon and Ebay, for significantly less than it costs new from Apple.
Or, you could wait until the next iPad model is released (In a few weeks time) - then older iPads will be available at significant discounts.
Hope that helped!

I download iwork on my pc but i don't know how to install it on my ipad

You can install any of the iWork apps on your iPad, but you need to buy and install the individually. Just search 'Numbers', 'Pages', 'Keynote' in the iPad App Store and you'll be able to get them.
You have to buy them even if you've already bought iWork for desktop, but they don't cost very much and they're absolutely worth it. They work really well and barely ever crash.
Hope that helped!
