HP doesn't list that specific error code, however www. dumpanalysis.org had a crash dump analysis listing that or a similar code. That means your printer has an internal error state. Check with the HP articles for error codes. You should try shutting it off for two minutes then rebooting to see if you can get it back online. 0xC2FF, & 0x0000C2FF are UTF 16 & 32 bit Hex codes indicating a memory overflow error (from what I could judge). If you are fortunate it will not be a permenant condition from hardware failure, otherwise your printer may need servicing.

My hp c5180 printer will not start up. It turns on but will not completly start up.

We were having a problem with a c7250 not starting. We were getting a blue screen on the display. After unplugging it from the wall (not to mention som gentle thumps on the desk), we finally managed to get it to boot. What fixed it for us was to get into the configuration menu using the * and # keys and then entering 123. We then choose user from the boot options. So far, so good.

HP PRINTER C7280 ALL IN ONE PRINTER. ERROR CODE ON printer LED SCREEN- INK SYSTEM FAILURE as above code.

Getting the blue screen on the printer LCD with the on/off switch symbol and the error 824C1500. Get a new and different error message each time I unplug the printer, wait a minute or so and then re-plug it in. I responds to no button pushing and will not turn off at all. Is there a simple fix for this problem or is it a throw-away?

Blues will not print

Printers are not repairable because you can purchase a new one for less money. I recommend buying an Epson all-in-one printer when it is on sale. A really nice one can be bought for less than $100.00.

Scanner problems

You need to have the full photosmart software loaded on the computer and to use this to scan to computer rather than using the buttons on the printer. This is a workaround rather than a fix but it should work
