SOURCE: KM-3035 scanning issues
the 30/40/5035 series machines have two network cards in them. One for printing and one for scanning. and they have separate IP numbers also. make sure you have scanfile utility running on your pc or wherever you are sending the files and the folder set up in the utility. then set it up on the scanner network card.. Not the printer.

SOURCE: setting up wireless printer
To assign an IP address to a KM 3035 you need to select the system menu/counter button above the touch screen. On the left hand side of the menu you need to select Printer Defaults. From this menu you need to select Interface and than select the network tab from the resulting screen. Scroll down to highlight TCP/IP and select change. From this next screen you should be able to assign a new IP address.
Let me know if you need any further info.

I found this post via Google trying to solve the similar problem with C3200n.
>> this will then cause problems as all the pcs that are trying to print to this
>> printer will no longer be able to find the printer.
Originally, I also had this problem (with C200n, but it is probably similar). If I recall correctly, I solved it as follows:
1. Open the OKI LPR UTILITY from the machine you are trying to print from.
2. Choose Option > Setup
3. Make sure that the Auto Reconnect checkbox is checked.
Again, I believe that is what I did to solve that I couldn't print after power outages etc. The IP is not static, but it still solves the problem.
Today I wanted a static IP for my OKI C3200n because sometimes there would be conflict between the IP for my printer and another machine in the house with a static IP.
What I did was the following.
1. In the printer menu locate the NETWORK MENU
2. Go to the IP ADDRESS SET option, change from AUTO to MANUAL
3. Go to the IP ADDRESS OPTION, change to the desired ip address. In my case it was at 10.0.0.5, but I wanted 10.0.0.6 for the printer, so I changed it to that. Typically this is either 10.0.x.x or 192.168.x.x
4. Press the online button. The printer will reset the network connection (it took approx 1 minute)
5. This should be enough. You can try to ping the printer at the new IP, or navigate to the new IP in your browser:

address conflict occurs
when two computers on a LAN or the Internet have been assigned the same IP. IP
conflicts between two computers normally render either one or both of them
unusable for network operations.
Address Conflicts Happen
computers can acquire conflicting IP addresses in any of several ways:
· A system administrator assigns two
computers on the LAN the same Static IP Address.
· A system administrator assigns a
computer a static IP address within the local network's DHCP range (dynamic IP
range), and the same address is automatically assigned by the LAN DHCP
· A malfunction in the network's DHCP
server allows the same dynamic address to automatically be assigned to multiple
· An ISP accidentally assigns two
customers the same IP address (either statically or dynamically).
· A mobile computer is put into standby
/ hibernate mode and then awakened later.
other forms of IP conflicts can also occur on a network. For example, one computer
may experience an IP address conflict with itself if that computer is
configured with multiple Network Adapters. System administrators may also
create IP conflicts by accidentally connecting two ports of a network switch or
router to each other.
IP Address Conflicts
Microsoft Windows computers, if you attempt to set a fixed (static) IP address
that is already active on the local network, you will receive the following
pop-up error message:
The static IP address that was just configured is already in use on the
network. Please reconfigure a different IP address.
Microsoft Windows computers having dynamic IP conflicts, you should receive a
balloon error message in the Taskbar as soon as the operating system detects
There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network.
especially on older Windows computers, a message similar to the following may
instead appear in a pop-up window:
The system has detected a conflict for IP address...
On Mac or
Linux computers, a similar message will normally appear on screen.
following remedies for IP conflicts:
networks where IP addresses are fixed (statically assigned), ensure each local
host is configured with a
unique IP address.
2. If your
computer has a dynamically assigned address, releasing
and renewing its IP address can
workaround IP address conflicts.
3. If your home router is believed to have a faulty DHCP server causing IP conflicts on the home network, upgrading the router firmware may resolve this problem.
