Question about Craftsman 25cc Gas Line Trimmer
I have a Craftsman weedwacker, model 358791560. Wasn't running when full throttle so replaced the fuel filter. In the process, realized that both the fuel feed and fuel return lines were brittle so replace both of those. Primer bulb still does not return to position quickly and I cannot get it running. It looks like their is fuel in the return line, but not in the feed line. They are different sized hoses/fittings and i replaced one at a time so i know that they are not flip flopped. What is next? I don't want to replace the entire carb if I can avoid it, but they don't make a rebuild kit for this model. Thanks in advance for any help.
Clean the carb really good. you can resoften the carb diaphrams by cleaning them with carb cleaner and rub them and dry them off then use some dish washing soap and rub them for a couple minutes. then just wipe it off. also make sure the screen in the carb is clean. you can burn the screen off to make sure its clean.
