SOURCE: how do I unlock the radio in a peugeot 206

Leave it SWITCHED ON....UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself.

The waiting time depends on how many wrong codes have been entered....but is normally only an hour or two

My 2002 blazer's factory radio says LOC on the

You need to get the radio Lock code from the owners manual or dealer and input the code. That is an Anti-Theft function in teh radio that makes it useless if stolen since you ahve to have vehicle and radio information to get teh proper code to unlock it. When you get the code make sure you write it down someplace because if you ever have to replace the battery you will need the code again.

My radio has a RDS and it is locked, how do I get

you would have to get the radio removed and get the serial# and provide the dealership with this # and they should be able to provide you with a code, but first I would check the owners manual for the code if you have it

I have a stereo of Cavalier 2002 but it shows ''LOC'' in the display. Can somebody help me to clear this lock. What could be bad on it?

your stereo is locked. your battery drained and clock memory was lost to radio. a simple fix can be found on this forum but they charge 4.99 or so to help. they dealer will cost 50 + so 5 bucks is worthit.

i am sorry you had to go threw this. positive side you will have the code so it will not be a problem in the future for you.

they radios of modern cars employ so called anti theft mechanisms, but in reality they are designed to cost us money to get things working normal again. this is by the way the only device on your car that is lockable by the power failure

good luck with it. and a little tip: they sell a 9 volt battery maintainer used by professional stereo installers to keep clock memory voltage on the radio so this doesn't happen when you need to disconnect your battery again. i would highly suggest getting one. they are fairly cheap and will prvent you from having any major issues in the future when you need to replace or disconnect your cars battery again.

I got 2004 Nissan Pulsar -ST model and in radio there display ERROR like that.It started off when I jump started the car after the battery had gone flat. Does any one know how to fix this problem.Thanks.

You will need to obtain the radio code either from your owners manual (usually written on the inside of the front of back cover) or from a nissan dealer.

When you have to code you will need to turn the ignition on (do not start the car) and turn on your radio. The "error" will be displayed for anywhere from 1 - 3hrs by default. Once the internal timer has counted down to zero you will be prompted for the "code" enter your security code and your radio will then be unlocked. (Do not turn off the ignition, radio or start the car during the 1 - 3hr period or the timer will be reset)

I hope this helps.

Thank you

Cd player flashing lights

Yes- it is in anti-theft mode. Whenever you lose power from the battery, the factory system needs to be unlocked. This would prevent theives from wanting your radio as they would not be able to use it in another vehicle without a unlocking code.
If you have the original owners manual from the car there are specific instructions as to the lock code for your unit. Hopefully, the dealer recorded them for you.
If not- you have to go to a Chrysler dealer and they can do it by the VIN code.

Radio unlock codes

You can get the code from your local auto dealer (Buick). The codes exist for theft deterrence. Assuming this is not a stolen unit, they will probably help you.
