Get Model number of compressor (all compressors have a tag with a model number on them), and call a dealer who can tell you the tonnage of the compressor which will be the same as the unit.

Note: Write down all the numbers on the compressor to be sure you have the proper info that the dealer will need. Also, you can probably do a 'search' on the computer with the model number of the compressor to find the tonnage.

good luck!

The modal number and serial # for my furnace is MODEL # F+RPQ24HQ6A SERIAL # EEGS13264Q OUR FURNACE IS IN A METAL BOX AND WE CANT SEE THE BRAND NAME IS WE JUST BOUGHT THIS HOUSE BACK IN DECEMBER 2016

That's an older YORK product. The serial numbers are all coded by the alphabet. York or Luxaire parts house can help you. Probably about a 1980's unit. Hope this helps!

I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT MY TONNAGE IS.

Look for your model number on your condensor, outdoor unit. Your tonnage will be towards the end of it and divisable by 6. I.E. 36=3tons or 42=3.5tons. Ac units are messured by the half ton. If you have a split system I.E. heater inside and ac outside your system will be 1 - 5 tons. If this doesn't help post your model and serial number. I can then give you tonnage, age, so forth.

I have found this model number on the side of the AC unit outside my house and I need to know the tonnage rating. I know it is only 10 seer but can't find this info on the tag.

Did you include the make and model information?
I only see your question worded this way:

I have found this model number on the side of the AC unit outside my house and I need to know the tonnage rating. I know it is only 10 seer but can\'t find this info on the tag.

Tell us more-- or go on line and do a search for the make and model-- Can you do that?

I have an older Luxaire furnace: Model # GSU137FF Serial # NAJTE Input 137000BTU out 110000Btu Natural GAS. What is age of unit, are parts available, whats is its efficiency rating. Should I fix or...

Your effeciency rating is 80%. Divide your output capacity 110,000 by your input capacity 137,000 and that will give you your effeciency.
The manufacture date is usually in the serial number.
You need to go to Luxaire.com and they can answer that question for you.
As far as parts there be parts available.
Fix or replace, if you are happy with the equipment and not really having a lot of problems, you may want to keep it. The newer equipment is more efficient, so if you think your gas bill is to high or you want to save some money on your gas bill, you may want to replace it.

Where do I find the serial number on my 30" GE range because I need a manual for the oven.

Model and serial numbers are on a tag. If you found the model number, the serial is on the same tag. The tag is usually on the back of the unit or on the side of the door, if the unit has a drawer on the bottom, check there also.

What ton is good man ckl 49 il where is the model number onthe furnace

ok ready for this? To find the tonnage look at the serial # Tonnage is related to 12's If there, on the serial # there is say 0062490 the tonnage is 24 or two tons 24 divided by 12 equals 2 Say the serial # contains 0063090 then the tonnage is 2 1/2 because of the 30 hopefully you see what I am saying the number in the serial # if it can be divided by 12 or 6 this is the tonnage. If you will send me the serial number I will tell you the tonnage. The serial number is on the outside unit at the copper connections where the electrical lines go in.

Good luck on your repairs hope this helped send me a note online here and if you need I will give you tonnage if you send the model # and serial number with your response> I will check online around 1500 hours on 1/9/10 central time. Remember to look for the numbers that are divisible by either 12 or 6 on the serial number

Need to verify tonnage of unit

In almost every case, most manufacturers put the tonnage in the model number. Look for something that is divisible by either 6 or 12. Something like, 24, 30, 36, and so on. Cfm has to match the tonnage. Usually in the neighborhood of 450 cfm per 12,000 btu's of cooling for the inside of the structure.

Hope this helps.
