Question about Asko 24 in. D3350 Dishwasher

1 Answer

No Power Hi Timon90, I used the dishwasher like normal yesterday today I went to use it and there is no power at all. I have checked our electricity box and none of the switches are tripped. I have put the door in as hard as I can and have checked whether the electricity plug has been pulled out by accident. Can you suggest anything or should I call a serviceman. Thanks from Julie

Remove the door skin dont forget the two screws under the door in the middle, the control panel will lift off remove the power board(unclicks)remove the plastic case and see if its blown. But first also remove the lower kick plate at the front and check that you have power to the main terminal block.but most likley the main board, somtimes insects get into them.hope this helps.Ian ps did you push the main switch in top left i have had a lot of customers forget.

I have a 15 year old jenn aire dishwasher that won't turn on.I t worked fine yesterday and i've had no problems with it,just won't turn on today. Checked fuse, door blockage, etc

yes you have to take the front panel off on the bottom and you also need to have a mutimeter to check for power if you are not accustomed to working with electricity please call a technician

My dishwasher wont start

Sounds like you need to check for power to the unit. Access is at bottom of dishwasher under panel. Next you will see the wiring coming into an enclosed electrical box. you will need to get to wires and check voltage on black hot wire to neutral with a voltage meter. If you have power but still doesn't work then at least you know the problem is with the unit and not the incoming power.

My dishwasher will not start

Hi!

Most common d/w power is 120 volts, check for 120 volts with a volt meter at the main power harness where it enters into the dishwasher, you will have to remove the lower access panels to get to the power box. Dishwashers also have at least one and most newer dishwashers have two door switches that must be checked. You will find then behind the console at the door latch area. Please see this picture of what the dishwasher switch looks like.

Please rate this solution as Fixya if found useful.

Please ask for any clarifications.

Thanks
Rylee

No electricity

I would check to ensure you have power to the dishwasher and that the door is closing/secure properly.

(i.e, Plugged-in properly under sink/back or washer, check for tripped circuit-breaker, and door latch is grabbing properly)

DISHWASHER WONT STOP UNLESS YOU MANUALLY TURN IT OFF

Wow, I am just wondering is the water inside the dishwasher warm or hot? Or is it cold? IF it is cold it could be that the unit is trying to heat the water usually to 120 degrees. If it is hooked up to a cold water valve from your house this could be the problem. Or it is the heating element,.

No power to control panel after power surge

1. No power to the dishwasherMake sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

2. Door switch
Replace if defective.

3. Timer
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

4. Selector switch
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

No power to control panel after power surge

Try turning the curcuit breaker off for a few minutes. Turn it back on and see if it resets itself. If not, the outage may have shorted out the main control panel.
