HI pewilson929. The Catalyst Control centre is a program that lets you configure your video card settings without using the Control Panel - Display. It installs when you download a driver for you specific ATI product. If you get this error it means you may have the correct driver for your video card. Did you get the driver from ACER or ATI?
Just in case uninstall it from Add/Remove and restart and then download this driver from the acer's website.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if this works for you. Thank you :D

How do i get bluetooth working on my aspire5535 laptop

Activate the Bluetooth features of your Acer Aspire to unlock your laptop's wireless function. Bluetooth technology allows your computer to control and share data with external devices without having to use a connection cable or download drivers.
In order to establish the connection with other enabled devices, you must first enable the Bluetooth antenna so other devices can locate your computer.

Press the "Bluetooth" button found just above the keyboard.
The LED above the button should illuminate.
Click "Start," "Control Panel" and "Add a Device."
Your Acer scans for other Bluetooth devices in the area.
Click the name of the device in the window that appears, and click "Next" to establish a connection with the external device.

I reinstalled windows7 to my acer aspire 5535 i didnt get its bluetooth driver where from i get it

http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=526
select the correct operation system first ..and pay attention cause they have the drivers in 2 versions for each ..one usually its for 86x64..and if you installed a windows 7 on 32..you should go for the version with 86 only ..(when attempting to download in the file name it is written if it is on 86 or both ..)
Just select the operation system and download all the missing drivers for your computer ..cause by default windows 7 will install only the on board LAN ..and video and sound..but nothing else..like touch pad...usb ...card reader...wifi ..blue-tooth ..they need the original drivers ..and here is the place to get them ..
Please do not forget to rate the answer cause it affects my activity here ..

> catalyst control center is not supported by the friver [?]

ATI (www.ati.com) distributes the "Catalyst" software with their adapter video-cards. So, there is a problem with the "Control Center" component of their software.

> please update your ati graphics,
> or enable your ati adapter using displays manager

First, do you have an add-in video-card in your computer?
If not, then you should not be trying to use the ATI software,
and you should remove it:
* click Start
* click Control Panel
* click Add/Remove Programs
* select the ATI Catalyst software
* click Remove
* restart your computer

Second, if you have added an ATI card, you may need to restart your computer, press DELETE to enter BIOS SETUP, and "disable" the "onboard" video-adapter, or change the video-priority so that the ATI video-card becomes the "primary" video-adapter, and the onboard video-adapter becomes the "secondary" video-adapter.
Then, click Save Changes, and before selecting Exit From Setup,
move the video data-cable from the onboard VGA port to the VGA port on the ATI video-adapter. Then, "blindly", click Exit, and let your computer restart. Then, during the reboot, the ATI software will recognize the new "primary" video-card, and will the software will control the ATI video-hardware.

Sometimes, it helps to have a second computer monitor, and connect one adapter to the "onboard" VGA-port, and the other to the ATI VGA-port, so that you can see video output wherever it is produced.

The complete solution to this fault (Acer 5535 keeps crashing under vista) is to use Windows XP instead of Vista. Set up a Dual Boot so you can CHOOSE to load XP or Vista each time you turn on the laptop. I've put XP on my 5535 and it's SO much faster and seems perfectly stable now - no crashing at all.

A full video showing how to do this is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdfU9TXIAd4
Once you've done this you won't have any problems with the laptop anymore.
This is a perfect solution to the crashing problem!
