The problem may be multiple:
might be a bad hard disk with boot sectors damaged....in some case irrecoverable....in other case format it on another PC laptop via ides to usb cable...

might also be bad boot sequence...try to hit Del in the loading then tab into boot and reset the
1 DVD
2hdd
3 pen drive..
now might also that your DVD Rom may gone bad and conflicting with some irq stuff and codes..try taking it out and redo the process..but don't forget to save the whole setting and set it right..

and on the whole lot you may as well take out the c mos battery out for two minutes and ride off the bad setting ..but mind you to save your previous setting before in case that other problem arise..

for if you have solved the problem and after each time you restart you laptop the same problem arise change the c mos battery its faulty....

PXE-E61 : Media test failure , check cable PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM. No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key don't have a boot disk

It sounds like your hard disk has gone, or not being recognized by the computer... Check if it seats well in it's place.
Unfortunately, laptop HDDs don't last long these days.

Hello higgstwiligh,

The above message is mainly informational and doesn't necessarily indicate a problem. The acronym 'PXE' stands for Preboot Execution Environment. It's an environment to bootstrap computers using a network interface card. Usually the reboot is done by a remote computer on a LAN (Local rea Network). The Realtek NIC (Network Interface Card) somehow expected a PXE boot to be taking place when the computer was restarting. One solution is to restart the computer and go to the boot menu (F2 on some systems) and choose to boot from the master drive.

*Here's a link to a good article explaining what PXE is: http://www.search.com/reference/Preboot_Execution_Environment

If this solution is helpful please click a thumbs-up rating below.

Have a great day,

the computer can't detect the hard drive to start from it or, then theres a problem with your windows. Use the recovery discs or windows setup cd to try to install windows to the computer again to fix the problem. Let me know how that goes. Thanks

Comp won't boot

This could also happen if the hard drive is dead and trying to boot the next item or the BIOS has the Netboot option set as the first boot device.

Jump into your BIOS and make sure that the boot order is CDROM then USB then HDD. Then try again. Let us know what happens.
