Question about Compaq Armada 7400 Series Replacement 204278-001 Keyboard
The "@" symbol will be a certain color on the keyboard, the color represents what key you have to press in conjunction with te "q" key to use that character.
Here is an example of what I am talking about. You will notice in the picture there is a "FN" key at bottom left of the keyboard and it is blue. So that means that if you want to use any key on the keyboard that has blue writing, you first have to press the FN key.
Try pressing/holding the "FN" key aka "Function" and pressing the "q" key. If it is color coded to a different key, use that key before using the "q".
