What are you plugging it into? It needs a 20 amp breaker, and no extension cord, and it has to be warm. In cold weather they are sluggish, a cord will drop the amps down quite a bit, if it doesn't have the at least 16 amps on start up , it will pop a breaker. So check this out. hope it helps.

98 Town and country won't stay running, ruse keeps blowing.

Keep installing a larger fuse & you will
someday burn a car to the ground
If a fuse blows once there is a reason
Replacing it one time seldom makes for a fix

Why does my transmission fuses keep burning out, stops shifting gears, check engine light stays on and coolant fan runs all of the time on my 04 dodge dakota

If you keep blowing fuses then there is dead short to earth in that circuit. Check fault codes and replace the burnt out wire or sensor or solenoid.

My 02' mdx won't come out of park, keep blowing a 20 amp fuse. This fuse controls the Cruise, break lights, memory seat, horn and linkage. I have to manually delink. I have unhooked the comand...

Here is an idea, when do you blow the fuse key on, key on engine running, key on engine running hitting the break pedal? Try and get the key on without blowing fuse if possible, then one at a time try those circuit loads ie: horn, brake pedal and so on, if you isolate which load is pulling to many amps(blowing fuse) unplug that load itself, then restart testing, see if fuse stays ok. You can also substitue the fuse with a circuit breaker and unplug each load until click(of breaker) stops.

My lumina starts but only stays running for a minute or so before it cuts off and 1 of the fuses keeps blowing under the hood the cover for the fuse box is missing so i dont know what fuse it is

I sounds like it may be your fuel pump fuse or relay blowing, if this happens to be the case, I would go to your local salvage yard and obtain a fuse box cover to see what fuse is blowing, if it is the fuel pump fuse you have a short in the wiring or the pump causing an overdraw of amperage blowing the fuse, you will have to find where the short is, it could be the pump itself or a bare wire going from the fuse box to the pump, if its an ignition fuse you could have a bad coil or igition module that has an internal short, i would first find a cover to see what fuse actually keeps blowing before you can start a better diagnosis of whats going on.....

Headlights blow fuse...no short in wires?

there is short somewhere. fuses don't blow if there is no short or overload. check the switches.

Verify fuse is correct size, then see what you are turning on else when it blows. Fuel pumps are designed to pump up then shut off, until needed when starting and running. It might not be shutting off and staying running when vehicle is not running. Make sure ground circuit is in good shape and positive side as well. Does this blow fuses when you go to start, or does it start and run for awhile then blow?
