Question about Samsung SYNC SGH-A707 Cellular Phone
Hi, I'm a cell phone techician and I see this everyday. If this happened within 24 hours DO NOT put the battery on the phone, take it out immediatly. Samsung for some reason can withstand liquid (some) unlike Nokia and Motorola. If it happened something like two weeks ago or it was a salt water pool then forget about it because it will have to see someone like me and I'm in Canada. But if it was relativley recent damage in a standard chlorinated pool I recommend putting it in a long sock and spin it over your head as fast as you can this procedure will force the water out. Don't let go or you'll injure yourself or innocent bystanders. This is very important...Hold it very tightly.
After 30 seconds of spinning place phone in hot sun for a few hours. Try the battery the next day. Really though you should remove the four screws that hold the back, take it totally apart and spray canned air into it.
