Take it apart and clean it....the screws are all easily located - avoid using any ammonia based cleaners and paper towel. Ideally - score some cleaner for glasses and the silk-like "hankie" to clean everything up. I bet the lenses are dusty and gross too....

Check your HDMI audio settings. It may be trying to send a signal that is incorrect. How is the wiring setup? cable box to stereo, then to Tv?

Jvc television no sound

There are to components to be suspected. Its speaker, and audio output IC. If speaker has any internal disconnection occurs, to its voice coil connection braid wire, the said fault can occur intermittently. If the audio output IC's contact between its heat sink has a screw loose, it will overheat after some time, and will shut down. It will work, after some time the set has been switched OFF. If there is any loose solder terminals to the audio output IC, this fault can occur. Just check these.

Cobweb behind the screen.

You can try and use a air compressor or canned air and blow inbetween screen and protective cover and see if that removes the cobweb. Give that a try and let me know if that works for you.

LENS CLEANING

A warm soft cloth like a t-shirt. Not soaked and wipe gently up/down. Slow process but cheaper than the screen..

Mitsubishi VS50609 has cobwebs behind the ribbed screen and I need to know how to remove the ribbed screen, I already removed the clear cover smooth cover. Sandy

set should have the clear screen cover (protective) and two more screens behind that. Easy way is to unplug set and remove back cover--cobwebs are usually behind on inner screen.

With the back off I use a swiffer like duster and reach up and get them all out--gently on the inside of the inner screen so you do not scratch or mar it.

If this helped you rate this solution as I do this here for free.
