It is ok if your have 32x for your driver 64x will be backwards compatible unless you are receiving an error after the installation then you really would need the 64x drivers for that USB adapter ^_^ but I believe your 32x should work on the 64x, on lt the 64x driver if installed on a 32x will not work because it will be higher than what the system requires but if you already have 64x in your computer and you only have a drive for 32x then It should work.

Unfortunately, there isn't a setting where you can change to make your operating system into a 64-bit system. This requires buying a different licence and the hardware to support it. You can purchase a copy of Windows 7 64-bit Upgrade from any computer retailer.

My usb port is not working

It sounds like your drivers are out of funk mate, this is a quick and easy fix and I'll step you through what a driver is and how to find it.

Pretty much, a driver is a set of strings and registries that tell a computer how to use a device that you plug into it.

So, let's take your USB for example. You have the hardware, now why isn't it working? Well, your computer can't just automatically identify the information plugged into it, it has to be told what it is by means of programming.

When a manufacture makes a computer, they make and sign drivers for the computer itself as well, so you have an Acer Aspire.

Okay, to get the drivers we will have to go to the Acer website.

That will take us to here:

After we are at the acer website, we'll select the "Support" tab, and then when we are in the next screen that pops up there will be a side panel with different options, we are looking for "Drivers and Manuals".

After we click this, it will bring us to the section that asks us to enter in our products information, model and serial.

The model for your computer is Aspire 5733. After you put this information in, it will bring up a list of drivers for your computer :) At that, signed drivers from the manufacture.

They are free also, so don't worry. :P You already paid for them, you shouldn't have to do it again.
After you do this it will ask you what OS you're using, Windows 7 32x or 64x or Windows 8 32x or 64x.

You can figure out what OS you are using pretty easy, to figure out of it's 32x or 64x you can figure this out by right clicking "My Computer" and clicking properties and it will say under "System Type".

After you select your OS and system type, you will want to download the "Chipset" and "Card Reader"

After you do so, install them, restart and your problem should be fixed :)

Have a good one, and if you have anymore questions friend feel free to ask.

Re. The Ideq 220k. I can't find Windows 7 drivers for this machine. Can anybody help, please?

Try checking what type of motherboard you have inside the pc case... that will get you to the proper vendor website for drivers...

Also, if there are no window 7 drivers, Vista 32x or 64x (depending on which version of windows 7 you are using... i.e. the 32bit version or 64 bit version) drivers will work as well...

Running Windows Vista 64x and my nds link driver won't install

If you bought the action replay, plug in the cord and a screen will pop up asking you if you want to search for NDS drivers. It will then say no drivers can be found but if you have the disc that came with your NDS to insert it into the computer. You put the small disc that came with the action replay into the cd rom and it will detect the driver. Then you can install the driver.
