Question about Computers & Internet
You should change the compatibility according to your operating system.
What is your operating system (of PC)?
Try to check if steam is set to run in Vista compatibility mode. If it is, uncheck the compatibility mode.
Ifyour Operating System is Windows XP, change the compatibility to Windows XP.
Hope this helps.

To install, first make sure that your "vanilla" Crysis is patched to 1.20, then patched with the hotfix to 1.21.
- UAC for vista and Win7
I find that Vista and Win7 have problems with UAC, so at your own risk, you can disable UAC by navigating to your control panel
find the user accounts section, and disbale your UAC (or as low as possible in Win7)
Unrar the File named "MWLL-OpenBeta1.rar" with either 7Zip (www.7zip.com) or Winrar (http://www.rarlab.com/)
To do this, open the file in one of the programs mentioned above, then click "Extract to"
Make sure to extract to “C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\”
Or If your using Steam, extract to "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\crysis\"
And if your using Win7, extraction path is the same unless your using 64 bit, in this case your path would be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis
or for steam C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\crysis
Once You've extracted, navigate to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Mods\mwll\
or for steam C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\crysis\mods\mwll
In this folder you will find the MWLL Launcher.exe, right click this and click "send to > desktop (Create Shortcut)"
Alternatively you can add a " –mod mwll" in the target line of a shortcut to the crysis executables.
The target line will look like this “"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe" -mod mwll” or “"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe" -mod mwll” Respectively to whether you have 32 bit or 64 bit windows installed.
**** Actionmaps ****
Next you need to install your actionmaps.xml to your profile in Crysis
To do this copy the file “example_actionmaps_for_joystick.xml” from your "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Mods\mwll\" folder
Then paste the file into your "My Documents\My Games\Crysis\Profiles\Default(and YOURPROFILE if you've made one)
Then rename your original actionmaps.xml to something different if you plan to play crysis again in the future, and rename "example_actionmaps_for_joystick.xml" to "actionmaps.xml"
