No power up in washer

All of a sudden its dead, no power going into machine. checked all house fuses and they are fine so most likely to be the washer.

Hi I have the same exact thing happen to me yesterday. There is power to the outlet (verified) but pushing the on/off button does not power the unit. Its is completely silent. I assume that its the control panel since nothing seems to be powering up at all. If the pump was bad, wouldn't there at least be some other noise or indication of power (i.e. lights/leds)? Is there any other way to diagnosis this problem other than swapping in a new control panel ($149.99) ?

There r two reasons y your machine is dead. 1st your pump is faulty. 2nd your control module is faulty. first check there is power at the power point with a toaster or hair dryer. please reply 4 more help.

Suddenly I have no power to my dishwasher. I checked my main house electrical fuses and they seem fine. Is their another fuse in the washer itself to check?

Do some more experiments...Check power is getting to the power point at the back of machine (maybe plug in a lamp or something if you don't have a multi-meter), check external cable for damage (while not plugged in). Is there any signs of power at all? Any lights that come on or beeps made? If your model doesn't have lights to begin with, it could be a problem in the trip switch in the door for example. There probably is an internal fuse... only problem is that if it did blow, it might have for a reason... keep investigating

I have no power to my machine. the plug is in and the the fuse box is fine in the house and still the machine wont turn on. i started a load of laundry and it lost power befor it finished.

If the lid switch is defective, your washer may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't work until you replace the fuse.

The washing machine doesn't come on when switched on at power point. No lights or sound at all. The fuse to the power point is all good. Machine was working fine the last wash load. Tashina

It doesn't work at all If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these:

No power
Lid switch
No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped?

Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.
check out this.

My top loading washing machine suddenly will not start.

LET ME SEE: YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE WASHER NOT STARTING, RIGHT? SOUNDS LIKE THE MOTOR HAS GONE BAD ON IT. BUT CHECK THE TIMER FIRST. IT COULD BE YOUR TIMER. IF IT AIN'T THAT, CHECK THE MOTOR AND CALL YOUR REPAIRMAN IMEDIATELY FOR SERVICE. WHAT BRAND AND YEAR IS YOUR WASHER?

Washer will not turn on. The knob moves but nothing happens when I turn it on. I've checked the breaker, the water, the plug/outlet, and hoses. Everything looks fine. But nothing happens.

HI THIS SOUNDS LIKE A CIRCUIT BOARD FAULT PROBABLY BLOWN 3 SMALL COMPONENTS & A BIT OF TRACK ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND SIDE OF BOARD.IT IS USUALLY ONE OF 2 FAULTS THAT CAUSE THIS EITHER A MOTOR PROBLEM IE CARBON BRUSHES TOO LOW OR FAULTY MOTOR THE OTHER THING THAT USUALLY BLOWS THE BOARD IS THE DOOR INTERLOCK GOING FAULTY. I HAVE REPAIRED LOADS OF THESE BOARDS & 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 ITS ONE OF THEM THAT BLOWS IT HOPE THIS HELPS!
