Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
It shows that there is an internet connection. It will not pull up a browser. It is connected by LAN cable to a DSL external modem. The service provider says that he can see my computer and that it should pull up a browser. It doesn't. Please help if possible.
Try to right click the Icon of internet connection on the taskbar on your right hand side right click the connection then click open then connection, then right click the current connection, then click on properties, then networking, protocols.then let the computer obtain the IPadress automatically and DNS Server address automatically.then try to browse again.
