Only one earphone works

This could the way the music is been recorded if it is strero or mono, also do confirm the earphone if one side of the earphone is faulty or not, if bad replace with the exact type and if not the media itself is faulty, you can take it the an electronics repair shop for them to diagonised the appliances... Hope this will help in solving.......

Your earphone seems broken, there may be one of the wires are disconnected. Try to buy a new one. ; )

This is usually the result of faulty earphones. Try replacing the earphones you are using with the ipod and it should work normally.

The speaker on my new Ipod nano the one with the camera won't turn off when i plug the headphone in it. Help please :(

Plug the headfones all the way in, force them in. it works, i had the same problem.

ya the jack wil be got loosened u must get a repair for tat

have you tried different earphones?

Sometimes if the plug of earphones are inserted half way, only one of the earphones play. Please try to remove and insert again and see to that it is fitted in properly and completely.

have you tried using differnt earphones? if the problem is still the same with different earphones then it's the ipod itself that has a problem, you'll have to get it fixed.
