Question about Dell Inspiron 2200 Notebook
The GUID is created when Windows is first installed .. it's a unique number based on the BIOS system date and time (to the nearest milliscond) .. it is a unique way to identify a specific machine .. (if you 'clone' the hard drive & use the clone in another machine you will have problems ..) .
You will find it hidden in the Registry .. to dig it out Google for GUID Tool ..
