Question about Dryers
I have a Sears Kenmore gas dryer, model 110.70912990. it runs but the heater doesn't come on. i replaced the ignitor and it didn't make a difference. one forum online talked about the thermal fuse and said to take leads off and tape them together (bypass the thermal fuse) and if it heated, the thermal fuse was the problem. it didn't heat up then either. what's the next thing to check?
Remove all duct work and inspect for lint trapped inside. If you get a very good handful the moister sensor shuts down the burner automaticlly until the vents are cleaned thoroughly
