Question about Sony ICD-MX20 Digital Voice Recorder
I installed the DV Editor software and Dragon Naturally Speaking software; when I connect the IC recorder a "Digital Voice Editor" window pops up and says:
ICD-MX20 is not accessible.
The IC recorder or the device is not ready.
I have a Sony VIAO PC with automatic updates enabled. Anyone has any ideas how to fix this problem, please.
Thank you much. :)

the workaround seems to be
buy an Olympus recorder (supposedly they issued a patch for DNS 10 in a couple of days)
tell DNS that the source is a PDA generating WAV, MP3, etc.
havn't tried this myself yet. some say it it isn't that awful. But I too am very dissappointed.
