I am having the same problem. I have checked the screen in the inlet valve for the hot water connection on the back of the washer. Everything is clear of obstruction and the screen is in good shape. I have also checked my hot water valve at the wall, and everything looks works fine there as well.

I have similiar problem. Hot water will not enter washer. Only cold water. I checked inlet screens for any obstructions and they are clear. No problem with hot water from tap to washer.

Temperature Control switch allows cold only. When turned to the hot/cold position, hot will not enter. Nothing happens.

Both taps are on. All I get is cold water. No warm, or hot, water during any part of washing the load. I am thinking it might have to do with the solenoid that controls that hot and cold water intake. Any thoughts?

Washer starts and then stops

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Just in case it is waiting for water-
If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,

Washer don't get the cold water only the hot cold water won't enter and the hot enter extremelly hot

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
(this covers both hot and cold but please read for cold! Your hot water supply provides the extremely hot water and is normally mixed with cold in the washer for the correct temperature.)

If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Hot water won't run into washer

G'day. The hoses from your laundry taps hook up to your machine onto what are called solenoids. These are like electrical taps. The machine decides when to turn these on and off and in what order via the timer and depending on what modes are selected. Generally there is a hot and cold solenoid. If you have both hot and cold hooked up to your machine, you can simply swap these hoses around (put the hot tape on the cold solenoid and vis-versa) Then when you select cold, you'll actually be getting hot. Some new machines heat water internally like dishwashers, and they only have one solenoid. Again if you put the hot tape only on, you will get hot water with cold selected. In both solutions you are losing the option for cold or hot cycles with a click of a button - now you must swop hoses...

No hot water going in

your water inlet valve is probably bad or stopped up with debris. some valves have screens that can be cleaned. you can swap the cold line and the hot line and check it that way. (you should get hot water when set on cold this way and cold for hot) be sure to turn the water off before swapping the hoses or you may get a little wet.

if the valve needs replacing you will need to remove the cabinet from the machine.

Our temperature control isn't working. If we put

You must have water to both inlets. Even with cold/cold, Your washer will mix the water some. Detergent will not activate if your water is extremely cold as it comes straight from the ground.

washer may not be detecting water temp but water flow ..if you never use hot water may try hooking cold water to a Y-connector and then hooking to both hot and cold inlet valves ..however it is also possible washer is detecting inlet temps in which case you're out of luck ..i suspect the latter
