Most often the control panel fails on these models. In order to fix it, the control panel has to be replaced. This is a very
simple job and you will need just a 1/4′ nut driver and a Phillips
screwdriver.
Instructions:
It could be displayed in any mode: “cook”,
“clean” or even more often in the “time of the day” mode. The error code “F7” may be be displayed along with a beeping sound if
the
ERC (Electronic Range Control) or “clock” senses one or more buttons on
the control panel stuck.

I have disconnected the power before by throwing the breaker and had not resolved the self cleaning part of this problem. The fan has not started with the new problem of the upper oven coming up to temperature then the ERC going blank and going off line. I am assuming as it does not get that hot that it is the ERC.
I do already have a part view and can order the part I just do not want to replace piece by piece and was looking more if you thought it was the ERC or a problem with the fan or sensor causing the failure.
Sounds like a logical approach, however the oven also has an error message when self cleaning, is this associated with the ERC or something different ?
I believe this information is helpful and have no problem replacing ERC however I feel I have additional issues that may or may not be associated with the ERC. In any event information on replacement is very helpful.
