Erasing Files and Bookmarks:
To erase files or bookmarks, while playback is stopped:
1. Press x once.
2. Press '<< / >>' to select one of the erasing options:

  • Delete the current file (DEL 01)
  • Delete all files in the current folder (DEL AL)
  • Format the memory of the player (FORMAT) (Caution! All data inside the memory will be erased)
  • Delete all bookmarks in the current file (DEL BK)
3. With one of the above options selected, press and hold x for about 3 seconds to confirm your selection and start the deletion.
  • File numbers that come after erased one will be moved forward by one automatically.
  • Press to cancel erasing all files. The undeleted files are saved automatically.
  • Formatting the internal memory may be required when encountering compatibility problem, etc.
  • You may also format the player when connected to a PC (by right-clicking on the player's drive name or letter and select "Format" from the menu). Make sure you select FAT or FAT32 as the file system.

I have a RCA Vr5220A. How can I tranfer recording from my RCA to windows media on my computer so that I can download ot a disk?

Hi therockofsal,

It is not necessary to use windows media player to transfer your Recordings, just plug in your device into your computer and go into " My Computer " and there you should be able to go into your device and play or put your files into the CD.

The RCA Vr5220A should come with a manual and have instructions on how to do that.

I hope this helps.

How can i delete all music from my mp3 rca series 10

Check to see if you can format it through the menus inside the mp3 player.
It might be in "Settings" or "Tools"
There will be an option called Format
Select and it "should" delete all music

If there is no Format on mp3 player

Plug it into the computer
Open device through "My Computer" or "Computer"
Select Folder where music is stored and delete.

Deleted files

Audio files are songs. I hope you don't mean system files. If you deleted system files or folders, go to RCA's website and get the firmware upgrade - hopefully it will add those files back.

RCA H100

Hell 69HaVoK69,

The easiest way to delete a song from your RCA H100 MP3 player is to connect the unit to your computer and then navigate to the player using Windows Explorer. Locate the song(s) you wish to delete on the player, click on the song to highlight it and then press the Delete key on your keyboard or right click on the file and chose delete from the menu.

You can download the full user's manual for this MP3 player from the RCA website by following this link: http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/Downloads.ashx?prodid=98&mediaid=572&force=true&file=products/H100/media/H100_UMEN.pdf.
