KDL-52w4100 won't turn on and LED blinks 6 times

Bus clock and/or data lines low at power on. 6 blinks of standby light denotes this. Actually, it should be a motherboard problem. Your TV need a thorough checkup before confirmation. If you wish to get more details about the blinking codes to Sony TVs, check this link.

Cant get the power to turn on,worked fine last night, it got unplugged, this morning plugged in, won't turn on and the power button just flashse

Flashing is either an error code or the set trying to boot up--some of the Mitsubishi sets if power removed will blink for a minute and then stop--then the set can be turned on.

What does the red light mean next to the power button?

The red light next to the power button is usuall the hard drive led which should blink every time the hard drive is in use, there is normally a green or yellow light for the power that shoukld stay on constant when the computer is on.

If the power LED on the Notebook is blinking but not turning ON then the issue is related to the power supply unit and service is required.

I just bought a used (or refurbished) MSI 845GE MAX MOTHERBOARD (478 pin, etc) and plugged in my Radeon 9550XL AGP 8x (4x compatible) card, (2) 512MB Sticks of Mushkin DDR2 (PC3200) RAM, Random IED HD, DVD...

Did you try another graphics card? If this motherboard does not have onboard graphics then try another card. AGP slots go bad sometimes too. I've had that happen.

Computer will not turn on

  • Blinking Amber/yellow: Initial state of LED at power up.
Indicates system has power, but the POWER_GOOD signal is not yet active.
If the hard drive LED is off, it is probable that the power supply needs to be replaced.
If the hard drive LED is on, it is probable that an onboard regulator or VRM has failed.

Ecs p4m800 m7 no display

On board video will likely be disabled if you plug in another video card.

Newer video cards require a connection from the power supply to provide additional power not available on the PCI bus to drive the GPU. It is possible that your 350W power supply does not have enough juice, or the rail is bad.

First guess, check the video card for a power connector. Second, check the power supply. Lastly, if you remove the PCI video card, onboard video will likely work again.

Good luck.
