Dear Frybrain, the problem is caused by either software or hardware. The proposed solutions for both are the following.

Software: The phone needs to be flashed with the firmware of the same or newer revision with the appropriate FS and language packs. This is complicated for an average user. If in warranty it can be done for free at any SE repair service center. Remember if you are in the EU the warranty is 24 months by law.

Hardware: The phones Motherboard is defective and a replacement motherboard is needed. This repair can be done only in a SE repair service center.

TIP: I have seen this happening in many phones and most of them were hardware faults. (70%)

My screen wont display

If you disconnect all the cables except the power cable, is the screen still white? White is unusual as it is the presence of all colors. Thus the white is probably coming from the video source.
If possible connect to a different video source.

White Screen comes up.

Inverter, backlighting, the switch that controls the on/off of the display when the Lid is open or closed. Did you replace the screens? Take a look at this video, it may help you troubleshoot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Yi6GNFcP3w
