Chances are you either have a broken heater element or programmer as the washer is not moving itself on correctly

Zanussi diswasher ZDI6053N does not finish its cycle. It has to be turned off manually

Your dishwasher is a sophisticated device that registered most failures. The End of cycle LED flashes if there are alarms memorized. So, count how many times the End of cycle LED flashes.
For example:
One flash - i10, the problem with water intake
Two flashes - i20, a problem wit drain water
Three flashes - i30, activated anti-flooding device
..... and so on

Zanussi dishwasher ZSF6161 starts program then stops after 15 minutes

check this steps and fix it. God bless youFloat Switch

The float switch may be hung up and this can cause the dishwasher to be stuck in a cycle.

Timer / Control

If your dishwasher gets stuck in a cycle first try shutting off the breaker for at least 5 minutes if this does not correct the problem you will need to replace the timer /electronic control.

Fridgidaire/Electrolux dishwasher stuck knob

It definately sounds as though the motor in the timer assembly is dying, or the gears in the assembly are wearing down to the point that the gears can't turn the way they're supposed to. Replace the timer.

Whirlpool Dishwasher GU3600XTSB 3 - 4 hours to complete washing

Wash time is determined by the cycle you select, the incoming water temperature and the installation location. The new machines will heat the water to a predetermined temperature and it takes roughly 1 minute for each degree of rise, If the incoming water is at 120 deg and the wash cycle wants 165 than it will take 45 minutes just for that one cycle to complete, Factor in an outside wall with poor insulation or lower water temperature and it could take even longer. I have a zanussi zdf 501. After a few minutes it freezes at .20 on the display. I don't think up to that point the cycles (all) are running properly

I found that at 83 minutes my washer stopped. I found on examination that the powder dispenser had not opened, some granules had clogged the clip mechanism. I cleaned around it a bit and the next cycle the machine went right through. I checked, and this time the powder dispenser had opened. Hope this helps

My dishwasher works but is taking a long time to finish the cycle it is a zanussi DA 6373

Your dishwasher may pre-heat the water. If so, and if the water entering the dishwasher is cool, the heater may take up to half an hour to heat the water.

To avoid the wait, increase the incoming water temperature before turning on the dishwasher. Do that by running the kitchen sink faucet until the water runs hot. Or increase the temperature of the hot water to the entire house at the hot water heater.

You need to reset the computer on the bottom. Had the same problem with mine. The Blinking led means the heating element is bad and will not operate.

There are a lot of reasons could cause this issue. Could you provide us more details (if you have) which cycle's stage "takes" this time (filling water, washing process, draining etc... ) You answer will allow us to direct you the solution. Good luck !
