Re: panasonic sa-pm21 sterio cd
The outputs on this unit are defective. This unit requires service. This is a very common model and teh repair should not be too expensive. Figure between $15 and $40 for parts plus the local labor rate.

do a google search , operating manual for panasonic md stereo sa-pm30md, check out the links for a free download, if not you can go to www.servicemanuals.net for 16.00 dollars download it. hope this helps.
F61 means a protection code which normally means there is a fault with the audio output IC. Check all your cables for shorts etc, and try hooking it back up. If the error is still there you'll have to put it in for service.
ALL THE BEST!
Hi. Got the very same problem. At christmas I had loaded two cd's in one of the racks. I used needlenose pliers as well and pulled each of the 5 trays out (well past their runners). Tried to dismantle the unit with the 3 screws on each side, but gave up. When I turn the power off and on and do a cd check the "hello" flashes then nothing, tried cd/change power button and basically everything else. All I can say is go easy on the unit as I was to forceful an now think i've ruined it. I'm gutted as this was a great mini hi-fi and has served me well. Best of luck with ur Panasonic, cheers.
