Due to the larger size of the Pandora's Box game (compared to the Curious Village), there is not enough space on the cartridge to store multiple languages and each version of the game only has one language

This being the case, the French version of the game only has French and you can't select English since the English game data is not on the cartridge

If you want to play the game in English, you'll have to get the English version of the game

Here's what you need to do:

1. Use the Memo function to trace which openings in the container lead to the garlic bulbs!

2. The fact that all three openings in the container connect to the garlic is a bit strange...

How to contain the smell, then?

3. You don't have enough corks to stop up all three openings in the container.

Well, you'll just have to look for another set of openings to seal off from the smell with the two corks.

4. Touch the man's two nose nostrils to plug 'em up and then hit "Submit" to solve the puzzle (make sure you don't leave any corks plugging the pipes of the weird garlic tunnels).

Unlike the Curious Village (the first game in the series), each version of Pandora's Box has a single language on the cartridge (so the Spanish version only has Spanish)

Operationally, there's really not much to know about the Professor Layton games and everything (such as tapping on the shoe to move, opening the trunk and saving) can be easily worked out

Saying that, there's little point in playing a Professor Layton game in a language you don't understand since you wouldn't know what's happening in the story (which is a big part of the game) and you also wouldn't be able to solve the vast majority of puzzles (since you wouldn't understand the questions, which are largely text based)

On a side note, Pandora's Box is the second game in the series and is best played after the Curious Village (as there's a sub-plot running through the games and the second game spoils one of the major plot twists in the first game)
