Question about John Deere Garden
I own a John Deere GX75 riding mower .. presently the mower will not move. I have noticed a loose drive belt. I believe that might be the problem. I do feel the motor/transmission engaging when shifting. How can I be sure it is the drive belt? Also, is it an easy fix and can the fix be performed by myself?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

This link will send you to the illustrated parts list on the john deere site. It shows the belt routing in the part diagram. Hope this solves your headache.

SOURCE: change oil in riding lawn mower
look at the side of the engine down low. There should be a pipe plug screwed in that has a square head. Put a drain pan under the area and remove this plug and the oil will drain out. It's best if the engine is warm. You should get 1 1/2 quarts of oil out of it. Let it drain for about 5 minutes and then re-install the pipe plug. Add 1 1/2 quarts of 30W oil and then cut the grass !
