Installed a SIM card but phone says no SIM card on my sharp fx pro

As far as I know there are two possibilities to get this error message. One is poor signal of that respective network for which you just need to switch OFF and ON your mobile and the mobile will be able to receive the signal from near by tower. You may also get this error message when you are trying to insert a sim other than which the mobile is locked to.To solve this problem you need to unlock the phone from that particular network or use the same sim to which the mobile is locked to.To unlock your Sharp phone you can purchase unlock code from any vendors online like

Tip

Phone displays "SIM card rejected" or "SIM card unaccepted".

The SIM (subscriber identity module) card is a small card inside your phone that establishes a network connection. The SIM card is provided by your operator or service provider. In most cases, they are the best source of assistance with SIM card problems. Your phone may display a SIM card error message if:
  • The SIM card is out of alignment. If the phone has recently been dropped, bumped, or opened, the SIM card may need adjusting. Follow the SIM card installation instructions in your user guide.
  • The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is entered incorrectly multiple times. This can inactivate the SIM card. If inactivation appears to be permanent, contact your operator or service provider for a new SIM card.
  • You have recently changed service providers. In this case, either your SIM card or your phone may be configured for your previous operator and may require reconfiguring. It may also be that your phone is configured so that it cannot be used with a SIM card from a different operator or service provider. Please contact your current operator or service provider for assistance.
If none of the situations above apply and you continue to receive this error message, your SIM card may be damaged. Please contact your operator or service provider to have the SIM card tested and/or replaced. Or alternately, bring your phone to the nearest Nokia Care point for inspection

My 12 month-old Android Jellybean will not read SIM card, has removed some apps and will not load downloaded apps into phone memory or CD card

I would recommend backing up the device and then resettings to factory defaults, sounds like your software may be corrupt.

Settings > Privacy > Storage > Factory data reset.

Error message no sim card installed despite sim being in place.

This is a simple fix. Just pop the sim card out and put it back in. Sometimes you only need to disconnect the sim totally to refresh the cellular connectivity.

You can try these steps just as a work around:
  1. Remove the SIM card, clean the circuit at the back of the SIM and try inserting it back.
  2. Clean the SIM try.
  3. Try using another SIM card just to make sure if the SIM is working fine.
I do these steps when ever i get the same error message.

Need unlock code for sony ericsson z550a for a tmobile SIM

Hi, If you get error message as PIN blocked. Unlock?" You have entered the wrong PIN code too many times. You need to unlock your phone using the PUK (PIN Unlocking Key) code. Your PUK code is provided by your network operator. If you get error message as Insert correct SIM" You have inserted a SIM card that is not supported. Insert correct SIM card, or contact your Service Provider for a SIM unlock code. If you get error message as Phone locked" or "Enter PIN" Your phone is locked and you need to unlock it with your personal PIN. The default PIN is '0000', but you or your network operator may have changed it. I Hope it helped you. Thank you for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

My phone continually resets and displays an 'Please insert sim card' message and cannot be used.

I think it is the problem with SIM card. Please try to insert the SIM card in another phone and you may be getting same error or messages like 'SIM card not valid'. If this is the case rquest a SIM replacement from your provider
