As soon as you turn on the PC press the Pause screen. Try to allow some of the boot screen to load before pausing it. See if you loose video while in pause. If you do loose video display, than the issue is either the video card or overheating. Check CPU fan. (Clean interior of PC). Remove & re-seat the video card. On page 28 of your manual you can only use certain video cards as listed. When all else has failed clear your cmos pg. 29.

My F2, f8, and f12 keys don't work on dell laptop

If you are trying to boot into bios you can also try f10, ESC,DEL and f11. If you are trying to boot too cd try hitting the enter key. I will usually start hit the key at 1 sec intervals from the time i turn the pc on. Some pc manufacturers will have alternate keys that you have to hit to boot into bios. Once in the bios you can set the cd drive as first boot. once that is done just keep taping the enter key until you see something different on the screen. Here are some links to try and help.

Some newer pc will have a recover partition witch you can get to by the boot selection screen. I have also seen many pc that you have to make a recovery disk first. If you don't, you won't have a easy way to recover the pc.

If you still need more help Please leave me a comment here with the model number and type of pc. I am assuming it is a dell.

Blank screen after boot splash screen

Hi.

After you see the press Del and F12 message repeatedly tap the F8 key, see if that gets to the advanced boot menu, if it does select "Repair my Computer" from the list, and then follow the prompts. Have your Win 7 disk ready just in case you need it.

Let me know how you get on and good luck!!

I Cannot repoot my disk by pressing F2

What are you trying to do ?
Restart your computer

During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key
this will vary depending on your computer and operating system

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

this will set the boot order

if this fails you might try some of these

Acer: - Ctrl+Alt+Esc

ALR PC: (F2) or (Ctrl)(Alt)Esc)

AMI BIOS: (Del), (F1) or (F2)

AST, Advantage, Award, Tandon: - Ctrl + Alt + Esc

Award BIOS: (Del) or (Ctrl)(Alt)(Esc)

If you need more help with this or if i have missunderstood the problem post a reply

Hope this helps

Boot menu

You can change the boot order from the BIOS. Power on your laptop and hit the Del or Delete key to access the BIOS. if it's not the Del key then watch the screen for the key to enter the BIOS setup screen. It could be F2 or F10 since every laptop is different.

How to install change first boot divice on ibm thinkcentre computer

You must enter the "BIOS" at start up (sometimes called SetUp). Press F2 or F8 or F11 or other function key that will be required by your computer. Should tell you at boot.

Enter the BIOS settings, find the boot sequence and edit it. remember to save your changes.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU SELECT!

Key on keyboard to access bios of M24XS-NP233X

for most desktops the key to press is del ...but it has to be pressed on boot when it shows your devices ....so ...just power it up ...and keep pressing del rhythmical to be sure that you do not miss it ...anyway after a few boots you will see cause it is written on screen press del to enter setup ...if there is another key set to do the job it will specify which one...
for some laptops you have to press F 2but I dont think this is the case...
if helpful ..please dont forget to rate ... Have a nice day !
