my razr v3c also overheats. it's the part just below the battery cover that gets very hot; not the battery itself. my battery also drains very quickly.

The batteries get hot under pressure, it sounds like yours is on the way out. You might be using the Internet over long periods of time, that would cause your battery to get hot.
If you change your battery, get the real McCoy, it's worth paying a bit extra for the proper battery IE. Nokia, Sony Ericsson etc...

This is a manufacturer error with the phone, i had the same problem where when i would talk on it, it would heat up so much that i wouldn't be able to talk on it anymore. if you complain enough sprint might be willing to give you a new phone for the two year price if you have a contract.

SOURCE: battery dies too quickly

Did you fully charge your battery when you first opened the phone? If not, the battery will never hold a full charge. it tells in the booklet that comes with your phone. Not giving your phone at least 16 hours on the first charge might cause battery trouble later. You may need to replace the battery. I hope this helps.

The batery of my phone is dying too quickly.

Common battery drainers are GPS, Screen intensity, CPU, WIFI & Cellular communications.

If screen intensity is low / screensaved and GPS is switched off, next is to look for excessive communications over WIFI or Cellular or Apps continuously using up CPU.

Samsung Galaxy proclaim battery overheating

G'day mate,
i reckon you are experiencing a power drain problem, there are few reasons that leads your device to it, check if you've installed any new app or got any new accessories such as your wall charger or a new USB charging cable, if yes, try to take that off your device and see if this help, if this doesn't solve the problem, try update the firmware of it.
Good luck
Cheers

THE BATTERY DIES QUICKLY

Hi yasinshoqair,

I suggest for you to buy a new battery.

the reason why your battery dies quickly is because the battery has been over charged or been used for to long, or its been in too much heat.

i hope this helps.

Battery is dying after 10 min talk time

Normally when a battery does that it has to do with it's very first charge. If the phone was turned on at all before the first charged reached it's full capacity, one day out of no where it will just die very quickly. You should also notice that when it charges it reaches a full charge more quickly than it did before. If that is not the case then you just got a defective battery. I can tell you for sure it doesn't have anything to do with the memory card.
