Question about Tomtom Go 630 GPS Receiver
I was able to operate my Tom Tom 630 with out any problem with out connect it to the computer because it came loaded with all the maps. However, when I connected it to the computer and downloaded the latest information it develop and error and all the information was deleted off the GPS. When I turn it on is said that no map is loaded. How can I revert it back to the original status that I am able to operate the GPS with connected it to the computer.
What you should have done before downloading updates is to always backup your unit to your tomtom home as if there is a problem then it can be reversed, but in your case i think you may have lost your maps, Unless your computer auto saved somewhere, if you have just purchased your unit, try contacting the seller and asking if they could help you, Sorry this is probably not much help, But always backup.
