Question about Casio FX-9750GPlus Calculator

Will i be able to store txt files or text in any other format in the Casio CFX 9850 GC Plus calculator. If yes how do i go about it

Hi,

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

goodluck!

SOURCE: how to calculate the coefficient of linear

Although the coefficient of correlation is well defined for a few regression models, you do not calculate it directly because your calculator does that for you.

I could just tell you that it is displayed along with the statistical results (equation of best fitting curve, ) but if you do not know how to do that you will just shoot my post. If you know how to do a linear regression, stop right here and ignore what follows.

For those interested: How to do a regression on the calculator

I am sorry but I will have to assume that you know how to enter the data through the [MENU][STAT].

- After you finish entering all the data
- Press [F1:Graph], select Gph1,
Gph2, or Gph3.
- Once the graph of the experimental data is drawn, you
will have access to the diverse regression models.
- Your choices are
- [X:Linear]
- [Med-Med],
- [Quadratic :X^2]
- [Cubic;X^3]
- [Quartic: X^4].
- Press [F6] to scroll right to access the others
- [Logarithmic:LOG],
- [Exponential :EXP],
- [Power :Pwr] and
- [Sinusoidal: Sin]

On that same screen, you have a menu option [F6:Draw]. If you select it, the regression curve will be drawn on the same screen as your statistical graph. This allows you to judge if the fit is good. If it is not, you have the option to choose another model.

The other option [F5:Copy] allows you to save the regression equation in the Y1, Y2, etc. variables.

SOURCE: How do i use this calculator (casio CFX 9850)to find the variance

Part A shows you how to enter your data and calculate some statistical values. Keep in mind that the variance is the square of the standard deviation.

You can safely ignore the PART about REGRESSIONs until that time you need the information.

PART A

In the main menu select [STAT] icon to enter Stat mode and display the
statistical data lists. Use the
satistical data lists to input data and
perform statistical calculations. Use the arrows to move the
highlighting around the lists.

Exemple: Enter the following values in List 1

1st line enter 90 [EXE]

2nd line 85 [EXE]

3 79 [EXE]

4 75 [EXE]

5 70 [EXE]

6 68 [EXE]

7 56 [EXE]

When finished you press [F2:Calc], then [F1:1Var] and the statistical
results appear on screen.

Title of screen : 1-Variable

x bar =74.7142857

Capital Sigma x= 523

Capita Sigma X squared = 39851

x lower case sigma n = 10.5249945

x lower case sigma n-1= 11.3682934

n = 7

Scroll down with Down arrow to access other data

minX =56

Q1=68

Med =75

Q3=85

Xbar -x lower case sigma n =64.1892911

x bar + x lower case sigma n = 85.2392802

maxX=90

Mod=90

All you have to do now, is to look at the theory you learned and
interpret what these values mean.

PART B

- Once you enter your data [MENU][STAT],
- press [F1:Graph],
- select Gph1, Gph2, or Gph3.
- Once the graph of the experimental data is drawn, you will have access to the diverse regression models.
- Your choices are

- [X:Linear]
- [Med-Med],

- Press [F6] to scroll right to access the others:
- [Logarithmic:LOG],
- [Exponential :EXP],
- [Power :Pwr] and
- [Sinusoidal:Sin]

- After you select a model and press [EXE], the screen displays the equation and its various coefficients.
- On that same screen, you have a menu option [F6:Draw].
- If you select it, the regression curve will be drawn on the same screen as your statistical graph.
- This allows you to judge if the fit is good. If it is not, you have the option to choose another model.
- The other option [F5:Copy] allows you to save the regression equation in the Y1, Y2, etc. variables.

Their use depends on the application you are using. You press a function key to activate the TAB that is above it (at the bottom of the screen.)

I compared two cables and noticed that they are identical. One insulating part on the TI cable is longer than the corresponding part on the Casio cable. But no matter, let us assume that the calculators share the same 2.5 mm connection.

You can verify the hardware compatibility as follows

When I tried to transfer from a TI to a Casio, the Casio kept displaying RECEIVING , AC to cancel. The TI returned an Xmit ERROR

When I tried to transfer from a Casio to TI, the Casio quickly returned a Transmit Error, while the TI kept waiting for a transmission.

There may be other issues of memory organization, naming conventions, systems commands and program commands so on.

For each problem you want to have your students solve try to supply the procedures for both types of calculators. This, in my opinion, is the reasonable way to go. A benefit to you is that you learn the expert use of both types of calculators.

If you care to specify what kind of programs you intend to transfer from one to the other, one may be able to point you to some resources available on the web.

You can verify the hardware compatibility as follows

- Use the Casio I/O cable to connect two TI calculators. The Casio cable wakes up the TI84PLus
- Use the TI I/O cable to connect to Casio calculators. The TI cable wakes up the Casio FX9550GII but not the CFX-9750GPlus nor the Graph 35. But that may not mean too much.
- Create a Matrix ( a 3X3 ) on one TI8xPLUS and transfer it to another TI8xPLUS using the Casio Cable.
- Create a small (3x3) matrix on one Casio C/FX-9750G/PLUS and transfer it to another C/FX-9750G/Plus.
- If you have been successful in any of the above you may try to transfer an object from a TI to a casio or from a Casio to a TI and the cable that worked above.

Hello,

Here is the link to all chapters in the book. You may want to use a pdf creator to lump them all in the same book.

Definitely not by asking in a forum. You could get a walkthrough, but that's not solving the problem.

This one is down to reading the calculator manual and your textbook a bit, then satisfying yourself that your answer and the definitions for those types of average are in accord. Mode is clearly an oddball which would make more sense with more context, but for now just pick the most common number, which is a set: (7, 10, 11).

That sounded better than 'toss-up between 7, 10 and 11,' did it not?
