Question about Acer Aspire 4730-4947 Notebook
I put a new hard drive in my Acer 4730z laptop and loaded a fresh copy of Windows 7. I did not use the restore disk as it is for Vista.
Pretty much everything works fine with the excetion of the volume control buttons.
I have the restore disk for drivers and loaded a bunch of them and still nothing makes them operate.
You need to install sound driver in order to get it worked with your new operating system. Installing MSUAA before installing sound driver may help (try using Win Vista sound driver). Go to this link to download:
