Hi ,

You ca try this step, turn the computer off and then tapp the F8 key repeatedly as soon as you release the power button after pressing it .Keep on tapping the key until you get a black screen that says advance boot menu option. Then select safe mode and hit the enter key ,wait till it takes you to the log on screen.Once you are there click on admininstrator and hit enter key.It should take you to the desktop where you can see the icons and the start button .Then click on start ?all programs?accessories?system tools and then system restore. It will take time for the restore page to come up and once its up click on restore my computer to an earlier time and then click next.Select a date when you think that the computer was working fine and the date that you select should be in bold. Then click on nesxt next to exit from the wizard ,you will find that the computer restores and then the computer restarts and takes you to the normal screen. If the restore is succesuful then it will take you to windows. If it does not take you to safe mode then instead of the f8 key tapp the f11 key until it says system recovery (recovery is the only way that the issue will be taken care of)click on next until you get a screen that has advance option ,then click on it and then select destructive recovery?click next the recovery will start on its own and then once it complets 100% click on restart and then when it comes back you will have to follow the onscreen instructions like selecting the state timezone etc. Please not that recovery formats the hard drive and takes the computrer back to its original factory settings. So it wipes out whatever u have added after you bought the computer.

all the best

How to reformat ze2000?

This computer can be formatted with the recovery disk. If you still have them, put the dusk in the machine, then restart. Usually should automatically boot from CD, if not either look at the screen or press F2. If you need more help, contact us at: witherspoon.corp@yahoo.co.uk

this is a system32 driver issue with windows i believe. i had this same problem when i plugged in a PCI Sata Adapter it screwed a driver all up and windows was stuck rebooting over and over. the only way i could think to fix it was to format the HDD and reinstall windows from scratch

How to restart hp pavillion 7965 desktop

Hi there. Try these steps:

1. On restart, press F8. This should bring you to a screen with various boot options.

2. Select "Last known good configuration". Windows then may load correctly.

3. If this doesn;t work, try the same thing. This time select "boot in Safe Mode". If Windows now loads in Safe Mode you should be able to restart and Windows may load correctly after this.

4. If these two both fail, you may have to repair Windows...

Are you wirless or wired to the network?

If wireless, you just may be getting a crudy signal, try getting closer to access point ( router).

Also, Verizon sux, i hate them, personally.

Anyways.
If you show the connection is good, then it could just be you have a slow system. I need to know your specs.

1. What operating system
2. What type and how much RAM
3. What kind of processor
4. what kind of Video Card?
5. Dial up? or High speed DSL ?
6. Wired or wirless?

Get back to me and we can see whats up.

Oh, its not overheating is it. When it runs slow, is the cooling fan reving really high? Is it giving off alot of heat besides the norm when it starts acting up?

Freezing or shutoff on boot, setup or minutes into operation

Try this:

Boot the system with your Windows XP installation disk. When the boot options window appears select R for recovery console. Once you have logged into the DOS session type: fixmbr and hit the enter or return key and select "y" for yes you want to do this. Type: fixboot and hit the return key again, hit "y" for yes.
