I need to change the phone number on my fax machine

Software was installed on your computer when the printer was installed. You most likely have a Icon by your clock for your printer. Open up this icon. Look for Fax setup or fax settings. This will allow you to change your phone number.
Without knowing the model no & name I can not look into the setup files and advise you better.

First off you need to connect the printer to your computer. Make sure the fax is plugged into the phone line. Then install the correct drivers for your printer.

If you have vista follow this: link click here

Attention Windows Vista Users
If you have installed your printer on your PC using an original Lexmark Driver CD that came with your product and you are experiencing problems when printing, you may have installed the Windows XP driver.

Follow these steps to resolve:
· Disconnect your USB cable from your printer.
· Uninstall all Lexmark printer drivers on your PC.
· Download the correct Vista driver for your model.
· Install the driver on your PC.

Important - Do not reconnect the USB cable until the install software prompts the question of how the printer is connected.
