Voice direction is gone on my nuvi 760. What is the solution.

You probably lost all your TTS voice files or your speaker is not working. Connect Garmin to PC and run WebUpdater from Garmin and it will put everything back in.

Garmin nuvi 760 No sound, just beeps changing screens. Mute is off. Previously no problem. What can I do?

Try update the unit with the latest firmware using WebUpdater. Play some MP3 and see if your speaker is OK or not.

I also have the 760 & the first gen Boulder (before the front speaker was added). I had the same issue with the M07 firmware (the latest you can get over the air), but took it into a Verizon store & updated it to M09. I am now able to pair the two devices.

How do I disasble Bluetooth feature on GARMIN760

On the nuvi 760 to disable the bluetooth do the following.

Go to tools and then settings, select Bluetooth. In the Blutooth screen select Bluetooth again and select disable.

Sounds like your speaker went south. Since your fm transmitter is working I'll be your earphone jack is too. So you could always use an earphone. Only other option is a speaker replacement.

Audio gone from my gps garmin nuvi 660

If you can hear audio through the headphone jack but not the internal speaker jack, then the speaker is bad.

This is a problem I have seen many times before. I will be posting an article soon on how to replace the internal speaker, however this is not a repair that just anyone can do.

You have to have skills in dissassembly & soldering.

Try resetting the unit and also charge it using only the wall charger overnight. Here's how to reset -it just puts everything back to factory settings - 1- Turn unit on WHILE HOLDING your thumb in the lower right corner as shown in picture. 2-Select YES PLEASE Take the time to vote me up this is my only reward for trying to help.
