When I do the self cleaning it does not clean the inside of the glass panel. I am not referring to the part of the glass clesest to the food but inside the actual door. So the glass has drips of oil from the oven above going to down the glass.

You will need to remove the door. Specific instructions for each model should be listed in your owner's manual. Once you get the door off a few screws are removed on the door bottom and inside of the door to allow access to then inner glass. Know that this door will consist of several panes of glass and seals. These seals must be installed correctly especially on a self cleaning oven. Go here: http://www.partselect.com/default.aspx?source=gawd&term=kitchenaid enter the model # and you can get a break down of the door and how it is assembled.

Open the lower oven door.

Remove the bottom screw from each of the two side trim pieces.

To remove the side trim, pull the bottom out approximately 2˝, and slide the top down to free it from the control panel.

Remove the screws from the oven control panel.

To remove the oven control panel, pull it out at the bottom, and lift and unhook it from the oven cabinet support at the top.

Now you can access the door latch and unlock the door.

It would have been more useful for me if you'd have told me why you didn't used the self cleaning. Because in most of the self cleaning it stucks and the fuze goes bad.

there should be separate fuses for the top and bottom oven. check all of them if this is not the problem maybe your burner in the bottom oven is burnt.

How do you clean the inside glass on the oven door

You need to take the door off and apart. Glass is very hard to clean as the dirt bakes on it, so if you want it to look like new then just buy a new piece of glass.

We put this unit on self clean and now it wont turn on nor open.

I had the same problem with a Superba wall oven. In my case, the bracket mount for the door lock warped due to the heat of the self clean cycle. We were able to open the door by inserting a coat hanger into the slight opening at the top of the door and sliding the lock lever to the left. It was a pretty easy self-repair - 1) turn off breaker 2) slide oven out 2-3" 3) remove oven front trim pieces 4) remove screws that mount control panel 5) this should give you access to the door lock mechanism.
good luck

Cleaning Inside Glass Oven Door of KitchenAid KEMC308KSSO

To dismantle the kitchenaid pro line oven door: there is a lever over the hinges that attach a door to the oven. The lever is right on top of the hinge. Pull the lever up. When that lever is in the up position, you can pull the door out.

I believe the entire door must be removed first. then remove every screw that you can find and draw a picture where they came from. then split the door open like opening a clam. then you may find additional screws to remove the glass
