Go to Control panel > Printer and device (win7) or Printers and faxes (win xp) right click on your printer > properties > Device setting locate Installable Option to Black ( seems to me your colour cartridge empty or has been refilled) apply > ok. Next Go to control panel > add/remove program > locate HP solution center > uninstall
You probably need to uninstall and re-install the Latest Drivers for your printer
To uninstall you can do it from the Software disk you recieved with printer. Insert the Disk in CD ROM and Click uninstall from HP Printer Menu
OR If you dont have the disk, you need to manually uninstall the Software ( Disconnect the USB cord before uninstalling )
Click START - Open Control panel - Add/remove Programs ( XP ) / Or Programs and FEatures ( Vista/Win 7 ) you will find list of HP Programs installed..
Choose one by one and uninstall these programs 1. HP Customer participation program 2. HP Imaging Device and software 3. Software and drivers for Photosmart 3200 4. HP Solution Center or HP Director 5. HP Image Zone ( or Image Zone Express / HP Photosmart Essential ) 6. HP Update 7. HP Printer Drivers/Diagnostic Drivers ( after every Uninstall you will be prompted to restart the PC, you will find an option [ Click here to restart later ]. click on it and restart the PC once you completed uninstalling all the above programs )
Once you have uninstalled - click on this link to download the latest drivers by choosing your operating system
Just go to your Start click on it then you will see Settings from sittings go cross to you right you will see Control panel click on Control panel this will take you to the control panel click on Add or Remove Programs in there you will see your HP Image express click on Remove, that it hope it some help to you.

That software doesn't necessarily have to be removed for the new printer to work, but it could cause some conflicts down the road. I would recommend that you completely uninstall the printer (Control Panel -> Printers) and that you remove the printer in the Device Manager if it is still there. Then follow the instructions and install the new printer.
Image zone is HPs attempt to get its customers to store, share and backup images on their servers: http://www.hp.ca/portal/hho/ize/
I would try reinstalling the installation CD again making sure the printer is off until it prompts you. This time when you get to the part where you can select what components to install document the program names just in case you do have to manually uninstall later. Anyway reinstall and when prompted connect your printer. Also before you actually try to use the printer make sure you go to the HP site and download/apply any patches there may be. This should fix your error problem and give you a good idea which of the ancillary programs to uninstall if you later desire to do that.

If you want to use your product before resolving this issue, you can work around the issue causing the error message by installing a minimal or express version of the driver and then installing Image Zone Express.
NOTE: This workaround does not solve the issue. This workaround provides a way to use your product without further troubleshooting. This workaround does not install Image Zone. Image Zone is software provided with the product driver that offers additional features. Installing the express version provides some of the features bypassed in the minimal or express install.
1. Restart the installation.
2. On the installation screen, select the minimal or express option.
3. Download and install HP Image Zone Express from the HP Web site (www.hp.com).
