“To install, and Update Hardware, click to open "Computer” from the “Desktop”, check to see if there is a DVD-RW Drive (D :), for external different (E or F:).
I. Look in the “Device with Removable Storage area,” see if the device is present, if so? Do the following: to “setup” the ('player') for “Installation.”
II. Right click on (DVD) “Media Player” select (“Install”) follow all instructions thereafter.
III. If the area is (Blank?), “go to,” and 'click' on the "Start button" click all “Programs” scroll for a Media Disk Player”, open, and do the (“same as above”) for the installation. *Note: “Do the same for “Setup” (above) “Install.”
“If this solution helped, ratings it is appreciated, thanks.”

Windows 7 installation disc doesn't see SATA hard drive

If your motherboard's BIOS is properly configured for SATA controllers and you burned the Windows 7 RC1 ISO image correctly, Windows 7 should recognise and install on a SATA drive without any third-party drivers. Consult your motherboard's User's Guide for assistance in setting up the BIOS properly.

Win 7 not install in my pc mother board P4M800-M7 sata hdd not show

Hello here are the homepages:

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=531&CategoryID=1&MenuID=16&LanID=9

Here are the other model ( version 3,1 )

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=548&CategoryID=1&MenuID=16&LanID=9

This is important when the drivers needed to be found.

But here seems to be no drivers for windows 7.

Here is only drivers for vista and xp, and there is absolutely no guaranty, the drivers will work on windows 7.

You need to setup the bios boot settings, in order to boot from the drive.
First boot device dvd drive, and second the harddrive.
This selection is urgent, when installing windows.

Other selections maybe needed, depending on the bios version.
The sata drive, should be shown in the bios main meny, when entering the bios.

I suggest you to download the manual, if you don`t have it, and read the setup install section, for basic boot procedure.

Best of luck

3 drives, and win7 can only find one drive

Hi

You give no specification information about either the drives (SATA or IDE) or the computer.

If the hard drives are IDE, look at the jumper settings and ensure that the Primary drive is set to Master, and the Secondary and Tertiary drives to Slave.

You don't say if the Win 7 is a recent upgrade and all 3 drives showed in the previous operating system or if all 3 drives showed previously in Win 7.

See if Win 7 can see all the drives and the status of your hard drives in Disk Management:

Start > (Category View) Control Panel > System & Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Create & Format Hard Disk Partitions > Disk Management

Without more background information, this sounds like BIOS settings issue.

Enter BIOS by tapping the appropriate key POST screen (usually DEL or F2) and look to see if the RAID or IDE/SATA configuration settings are correct and try different settings > F10 > Enter.

If none of these solve the problem, look internally and check your hard drive data and power connections (it is easy to work inside a computer and forget to reconnect hard drive cables). Try alternative SATA or IDE cables.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

To install Windows 7 no need for RAID driver. If you face issues in installing Windows 7 disable RAID in BIOS, install Windows 7 and then install RAID driver.
