try to drain the water from the unit it should have drain holes in the back of unit on the bottom make sure they are cleaned out where they can drain the condensate water out of the unit

hi if you input all the details on the internet the name and the model number it will bring up any relevent sites or type in code number for the remote for your unit and it normally brings a list of codes for different air conditioning units it should be there. Good luck .

You need a professional here. Once this has been repaired, I would suggest running the wiring to the outdoor unit inside some sort of piping to protect it.

If you are talking about a whole house ducted system, it is best to keep all vents open.
If you are talking about a window air conditioner, the vent is mainly intended to bring in fresh air, usually people keep them closed, unless you are just running the fan only and want to bring in cooler fresh air, like in the early mornings.

Un-configured service board. Board needs to be set to either cooler with electric heat or heat pump. Enter config menu and set C3 to either "c" for coolers or "h" for heat pump. For newer boards config menu is accessed by holding down the up and down arrows and quickly pressing off twice.

One thing you can try is to hold down on the power button and plug the unit in. Hopefully you will hear a "beep". Then you need to unplug it for a minute and plug it back in. This is a known procedure to clear error codes from the control computer on units similar to yours, so it might possibly work.
